Viet Nam is a multi-religious and multi-ethnic country. The consistent policy of the State of Viet Nam is to (1) respect and provide favourable conditions for all citizens to exercise their right to freedom of religion and belief; (if) promote the harmony and peaceful coexistence among all beliefs and religions in the country; (iii) ensure equality and non-discrimination on the basis of religion, belief; and (iv) protect the activities of all religions by means of national legislation.
