Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security has publicized its project for making audio and video recording during interrogation, state media has reported.
In order to implement the project, the ministry established a steering board and a working team for material equipment and human resources as well as a road map for the project, with Minister To Lam being head of the steering board and Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong being deputy head.
Audio and video recording during interrogation are new requirement in the Law of Criminal Procedure 2015 in order to enhance human rights according to the 2013 Constitution, said Senior Lieutenant General Vuong.
